Black Drum, and Sea Trout Summer
The redfish have been real tight lipped this summer,
We have still been getting good numbers of Redfish, and in good
Size, but they are being caught early before the heat is on.
I have been getting these fussy Reds on Pinfish and the green and
Silver Mirodine by Mirrolure Co.
This summer, I have been focusing on the Gator Sea Trout, and finding them all day along the Indian River Lagoon, we’ve been catching
Some really nice size Trout on mainly free lined Pinfish, and assorted
Saltwater Assassins in 3 to 5 feet of water, near Haulover canal.
The black drum have been moving around a lot, all over the Mosquito
Lagoon area. The black drum have been biting on Gulp Crab and live or
Dead shrimp..
So if you’re ready for some fun, grab some coffee and your polarized
Lenses, and let’s get out early and experience what we call The Magic
Hour…
