Well where do i start,
It has been a real tough summer, between the bad algae bloom, polution leak and the high temps. But if you trust your #guide you will be on the #fish. There are still plenty of clean water areas, and fish to be caught. Ive been doing really good north of #Titusville IRL. #Epic days of fighting #Reds and big #SeaTrout.
Ive been using #SaltwaterAssassins and a new #Topwater #lure by #OdinLureCompany with #SlammingResults! So yes weve got bad issues with our waterways right now but there are still great days to be had on our region. #LetsGoFishing!

The bite has been Hot, but so has the Florida weather. I like to get out on the water early. I’ve been finding my tailing reds in the 1 to 3 Foot #GrassFlats around mid-#IndianRiver. I have been throwing my fav #RapalaSkitterWalk, on my #MemorystixMS792, #Adventurouscustomrods #CaptJimRoss, #DerwoodRoberts with great success. As the sun heats up, I switch to a #SaltwaterAssassin, or a #JohnsonGoldSpoon which always do well.
My #SaltwaterAssassin color patterns change depending on the conditions, Water claririty and matching the bait in the area.
The trout bite has been hot all through the day, and the #BlackDrum have been scattered everywhere.  I like to throw a Popping cork with a #DOAShrimp. That always gets their attention.
Well as always, grab your polarized lenses and your favorite cup of coffee and let’s go fishing. #ProFishFinders

Well, it has been an unusual season, to say the least.

with so little rain to speak of , the #Redfish and #SeaTrout have been holding quite tight to the shorelines of the Indian river and MosquitoLagoon of the Spacecoast . The #BlackDrum have been cruising around the deeper dropoffs throughout the day.The heat is on!!
First light I like using Rapala SkitterWalk Topwater and later will always throw on the MemorystixMS792 a SaltwaterAssassin greyghost seashad on a jighead with exploding results.
So grab your coffee and a good pair of polarized lenses, and let’s go fishing!!

Came out for a 5-day fishing excursion with Capt. Russ, and I had a blast! We did 4 days on the flats caught 9 reds one being my largest ever 40 inches, one night trip aired one Tarpon and a few more reds. He has a #BassAssassin addiction!! Then one night Capt. Russ had a 25 lb Bonito itching to be cut and used up, so we did some beach fishing and caught a 5ft. The bull shark, and a 3ft. Nurse shark. Once again after 5 yrs of fishing with Capt.Russ, This was the best yet!! See you next year. Capt.Wayne Goodwin, Nashua, New Hampshire.
